  1. Engine is a 2008 Yanmar 4 cylinder, 53 horsepower replacing the original Ferryman 24 HP.  Mechanicals have never seen salt water
  2. Water tanks are 2-50 gallon tanks
  3. Fuel tank is 90 gallons
  4. The chart table back had some serious water damage when I bought her, and the area above the chart table had some old, outdated instruments (such as Loran).  The first thing I did was repair the faulty deck drain (which caused the leak) by repairing the fiberglass around the drain opening and installing all new connections.
  5. I then replaced the chart table back with new teak and installed a new teak panel above the chart table on a hinge to get to the wiring and heat pump duct more easily behind it.
  6. Since the sole had water damage also, I then replaced it with new teak and holly plywood and made a new access door in the process.
  7. While replacing the sole, I replaced all the plumbing in the boat with new PEX pipe, color coded.  I also added shut off valves and various access points to make it easier to manipulate the water system on the boat.
  8. I also replaced the foot pumps in the galley and head, connected to lake water intake rather that the water storage tank, and replaced all this piping while I was at it.
  9. There are a total of 6 thru hull seacocks, 4 of which have been replaced with new Groco seacocks (not ball valves) in 2021 and 2022.  The engine intake seacock was installed in 2008 along with the heat pump intake seacock.
  10. I completely upgraded the electrical system by removing the old batteries from the engine compartment and installing new ones under the chart table seat.  The new ones are 2-200 AH Lithium Iron Phosphate Victron Smart batteries for a house bank, and a new Victron 90 AH AGM battery for the starter.  I did the research and installed a new Victron Multiplus charger/inverter  (3,000-watt inverter) along with all of the appropriate T class and ANL fuses, lithium charge relay, etc., and replaced all of the circuit breaker panels with new Blue Sea Systems, both 110 and 12 volt.
  11. All of the interior lights were then replaced with LED.
  12. I removed the upper galley cabinets over the sink (they were blocking the view to the salon) and installed a new mahogany shelve for a larger microwave, and installed a new convection microwave oven in that location.
  13. I replaced the sink faucet with a new Grohe faucet.
  14. I replaced the swinging doors in the galley with new smoked plexiglass sliding doors to make the galley more efficient.
  15. I replaced the old 6 gallon electric water heater with a new 11 gallon unit, and connected the heat exchanger to the engine for hot water while underway (the original one did not have this piping)

 

  1.  The old instruments were outdated, so I relaced them all with new ones.  We have:

 

  1. new Raymarine 9” Axiom chartplotter at the helm
  2. new Raymarine 7” Axiom on the chart table down below connected to the helm unit via network. 
  3. new Raymarine EV200 autopilot which works extremely well
  4. new Raymarine RAY90 VHF and AIS with remote speaker and handheld device at the chart table and also at the helm.
  5. New Raymarine triducer for speed, water temp, and depth
  6. New Raymarine  i70s for wind speed and direction, speed through water, etc.
  7. New Raymarine i70 at the helm for autopilot control
  8. New Raymarine digital radar
  1. While on the hard during the winter of 2020 I had the mast taken down and all internal wiring was replaced.  I also removed the Sitka spruce spreaders, took them home, and sanded them down to original wood, epoxied them, and put on 4 coats of 2-part polyurethane.  I also added all new LED lights to the masthead and new LED spreader deck lights along with new LED steaming light.
  2. During the winter of 2021 I built a new fiberglass hard dodger for her in the garage compete with operating center window, speakers, and lights.  This was installed in the spring of 2021.
  3. I removed the pilot berth that was on the starboard side above the settee and installed storage with 6 drawers behind locking panels.  I also replaced the starboard settee with new teak and ball bearing rollers, and installed drawers behind the settee back for better storage access.
  4. I installed a new Bluetooth stereo and speakers along with new heat pump air outlet register
  5. I replace the old Naugahyde headliner with a new paneled ceiling and mahogany trim, a huge job!
  6. I installed a new diesel air heater and duct that works on 12 volts.  This came in very handy on some long cold overnight passages since it does not draw very much power and has a separate 5-gallon fuel tank.
  7. I replaced all the old sails (Yankee, staysail, and battened main) with new ones from Precision Sails in the summer of 2021.  I also purchased and installed a sailpak and lazy jacks for the mainsail to make dropping it and stowing it easier.  She has an almost new asymmetrical spinnaker with Chutescoop in addition to the new primary sails.
  8. All interior cushions were replaced with new ones in spring of 2021.  Anything that can be slept on is made with special mattress foam, and all covers were made with high end faux leather
  9. Purchased new canvass helm cover to match sails in 2021
  10. Installed new wrap around seat at stern spring of 2021
  11. Installed bimini over stern seat in summer of 2021
  12. I replaced the inner staysail stay with a new Selden Furlex furler to make sail handling easier summer of 2021.  The headsail already had a Furlex, so it matches that one on a smaller scale.
  13. Replaced the dinghy hoisting lines in spring of 2021
  14. Refurbished the dinghy in 2021 with new bottom paint, new varnish on the woodwork
  15. Replaced all of the stanchion bases and stanchions along with all new lifelines in spring of 2020
  16. Refinished the bowsprit in spring of 2021 along with fiber glassing the top for better weather resistance
  17. Added gas struts to the aft exterior hatches in spring of 2021painted all of the non-skid in summer of 2021
  18. Added a mahogany well foot stand behind the wheel in summer of 2021
  19. Added a swinging recessed cabinet in the galley winter of 2022
  20. Added an overhead cabinet with 2 false bottomed drawers winter of 2022
  21. Refinished the teak wheel in winter of 2022
