The term "best available" is often thrown out without merit. This Chris Craft 501 is the real deal. The first owner kept her in Grand Haven Michigan for twenty years since new and cruised Lake Michigan lightly only putting on 600 hours. There are now a total of only 999 hours on the mains and 1274 on the Generator. The boat was always stored in a heated building and was exceptionally well maintained. the second owner and seller of this vessel also owns and operates the Boatyard where we operate our brokerage service here at Anchorage Marina. To say that the boat has been well maintained and updated by the Boatyard would be a vast understatement and Anchorage Marine has the documentation to prove it. The exterior of the boat has been painted white with Awlgrip and the minimal exterior teak is highly varnished. The bilges have been gone through and painted and the waste and water tanks replaced along with all associated plumbing and all three vacuflush toilets. The engines have had all belts and hoses replaced and the turbochargers were sent in for tuning. The flybridge dash panel and all gauges are new along with a new Kahlenberg dual trumpet air horn. There is a Sonos stereo system in the salon and on the bridge. The interior teak has been refinished and the carpet and flooring were replaced last year along with new blinds in the salon.
