Matt Loew

I grew up in Southwest Michigan on my family's 800 acre dairy farm, which is still owned and run by my mom, dad and three younger brothers. I stayed on the farm through my high school years and learned a lot about life, dedication, and hard work. I did not realize it then, but that experience helped shape who I am today — and I will be forever grateful for that opportunity.

I've always had a fascination with the water — fishing, boating, or just being around it. I was fortunate enough to have a close friend who was involved in the boat business, and that is how I got my start almost 27 years ago. Since then I have worked for some large boat dealerships in Western Michigan and gained a lot of experience, but I also saw areas in the brokerage industry that I thought I could improve on. That prompted me to start Anchorage Yacht Sales almost 23 years ago.

I have been happily married to my wife Nicole for 27 years and we have three awesome boys, ages 23, 20, and 16. I'm happy to say that my wife and kids enjoy boating as much as I do, which usually means you can find us out on the Big Lake almost any weekend during the summer.
